Topic: ADI 8 DS with PCIe card

I have one in an older Ma Pro 1.1 running OS X 10.6.8.

Can I switch to a Mac Pro 5.1 with newer OS?  How high a Mac OS can I use with this interface?  I currently work with Logic Pro 9 music software.  The system has worked well for many years but CPU should probably be upgraded.

Thanks

Wrong information - the ADI-8 DS doesn't matter. We need to know what 'PCIe card' you use.

Re: ADI 8 DS with PCIe card

Thanks, It's an RME RayDAT card purchased with the interface.  Hooked to the interface with light pipe.  Always worked well.  Still works. Also a UAD 2 Duo card.
But I'd like to upgrade Logic at some point.  Don't want to chuck the RME gear unless the new versions are much better?

My MacPro 1.1 can't go above OS X 10.6.8 I believe.

Thanks

Re: ADI 8 DS with PCIe card

The RayDAT has current drivers and also works with 10.14.2. As long as the Mac that you buy has a PCIe slot to put it in...
