Topic: RME HDSPe AES Stuttering Noise on Windows 10

Hello friends,

Decided to do a fresh install of Windows a couple of days ago... who knew the MYRIAD of things I'd have to worry about smile

Used to have Windows Server 2016 installed and my HDSPe AES hooked up to a Lavry DA11 worked perfectly fine. Now that I've migrated over to Windows 10 and reinstalled the latest WDM drivers + updated firmware to latest for the HDSPe AES card, I'm experiencing a very rhythmical stutter. I changing the Sample Rate and Buffer Size in Hammerfall DSP settings but to no avail.

Right now I'm at 48khz/512 samples, no other setting enabled (except for WDM Devices = 1), and experiencing stuttering. Tried 44.1khz and 96khz and same issue.

Any ideas why I'm experiencing this? Could it be the firmware upgrade? I confess I did not listen to how it sounded prior to updating the firmware, after the windows reinstall.

System Specs:

Asus Z10PE-D8 WS
2x Xeon 2699v4
