Topic: windows 10, midi partially stopped working

Hi,
I am using driver version 4.28, on windows 10. All was well but in the last 36 hours Midi input is no longer detected using my main midi controller, a Roland A-70. I actually have two of these, and I tested each controlling a small Yamaha AN-200 groovebox, and it works.

But soft synths loaded standalone or through Reaper no longer see the AIO midi input using the A70. Very strangely, a Kawai C220 digital piano, when connected to a soft synth, works!

The only thing that might have changed is that I installed the Korg Collection WaveStation Vst. But even after uninstalling it, the problem persists.

I am not very experienced testing MIDI IO, are there any utilities I could use to diagnose this problem?

My HDSPe AIO card was bought second hand but it has worked flawlessly the last 3 weeks since I got it.

It's old, but should still work.

It does! Also very useful for mapping and connecting to virtual midi ports like midi over lan etc. Just saying...

Thanks.

MIDIOX says no midi device detected.
