Topic: How to Route OS X Output Audio Through a Specific Channel in TotalMix

I'm looking for information on how to route the output audio of OS X — e.g. videos playing in browser, system alerts, iTunes, Spotify, etc. — through a specific channel in TotalMix FX using the MADIface XT interface. Currently, the OS output is set to a random channel in TotalMix FX that's also assigned to a print channel in my Pro Tools template, which is problematic.

I'm using the Audio MIDI Setup app to set my system output and input, but I can't figure out how to change where the Output is sending in TotalMix FX.

I'm happy to provide any additional information that may be needed. Thanks!

Re: How to Route OS X Output Audio Through a Specific Channel in TotalMix

in Audio Midi Setup, you can select certain stereo pair,
depending on that choice, it will be shown in MIDDLE row of TotalMix FX,
in BOTTOM row of TotalMix FX, you select hardware output, and then route whatever you need from the middle row into it
