Topic: RME UCX + Apogee Ensemble (old one)

Im using RME UCX and I want to increase my system's Input and Output count. (not for recording but mixing with output gearz and analog summing sometimes)

Can we use the old Apogee Ensemble as ADAT EXTENTION??? not connecting it to computer with its driver. Just as ADAT???

Why not if the device has standalone capabilities to remember routing after power cycle ...
Maybe it can even receive clock from ADAT from RME device ...
