I am wading gradually into deeper water but often suddenly out of my depth. I have read as much as I can in the manual and searched too, but I think that my basic understanding of key concepts is too little.

This is what I want to do:

Nektar Impact LX25+ (connected to computer via USB) as controller keyboard for V-synth XT and FS1R connected to UCX via the MIDI breakout cable.

Is this possible? If so, would anyone be kind enough to walk me through the baby steps of menus?

If it is not possible, is this:

MIDI out from Prophecy to UCX, controlling the V-synth and FS1R.

Or am I missing the point here? Is the MIDI connectivity only for controlling the UCX?
