Topic: [Solved] New Mac Mini (2018) not seeing Madiface USB

Hi,

Just got 2 brand new Mac Mini updated to 10.14.4, 2 Madiface USB.

The first mini is good, I flashed the firmware to v25, the mini sees the soundcard.

2nd Mini... I see in the Fireface USB setting that the soundcard is clocked (External clock). But audio midi setup doesn’t see the card.  I open Ableton Live, Madiface is not seen by Live... It only sees internal speakers.

I also checked the « Security and Privacy » to make sure it was not bloccking anything, but all is good there.

Any Ideas?  I tried 2 different USB cables, I exchanged the 2 interfaces and both work on the 1st mac mini, both do not work on the second mini...

Thanks

I am not a mac man so forgive me if stupid, but can you clone or swap the os. If the problems then remain it is the second mac.

Remove the driver (see manual), reinstall the latest driver, then immmediately after reboot open the Security and Privacy app.
