Topic: 48K bit test

Hello,

I am using my RME ADI-2 Dac FS in an online video editing suite. One if its functions is to convert, for monitoring and QC, AES/EBU audio that has been dis embedded (using a hardware dis embedder) from the SDI stream sent to my video reference monitor.

I went to assess the audio chain using the RME and discovered that there is no Bit Test for 48K.

My video software and chain are 48/24 to conform to the SMPTE 299M spec for SDI embedded audio.

Would it be possible to add a bit check for 48/24?

Re: 48K bit test

You can change the sample rate information in the header from 44.1 to 48 kHz, then the file will play and check at 48 kHz. Just don't alter the data.
