EDIT: weird, whatever I do the text doesn't show up. talk about having a bad day XI

I may have overloaded the input somehow(?!!) it was connected via a stereo mini jack cable to a 2.1 system with a slightly underpowered PSU, and smelled some warm components but didn’t realize it may be from the sound card..nothing visible but the spartan chip was warm to the touch about 5 mins after when I pulled out the card. Pc doesn’t register it

    Hey torbenscharling, I just did a close-up look at that card, and can you tell me if where I circled on the Picture, is that shadow or char?  Sorry its so hard to get Real Help on here anymore.
   Here's a link to that card with what looks like burnt traces and a popped Op Amp. I could be wrong, but you should take a good look.
