Try a different power supply. If you don't use one - did your USB port change?
i have a spare BF Pro.
i swapped them and there is no zapping.
Is that new or was like that from the beginning?
it had been running beautifully for 3 years and 5 months.
last performance 2 people briefly noticed a burning smell. all the kit continued working fine so i thought nothing off it. the BF was shut down only after the pa was disconnected.
so when first back in the studio and i put the laptop in sleep i noticed it.
In that case service should have a look inside...
i'm in the UK but i purchased it from Thomann.
where should i direct my servicing request?
Thomann....
sorry to take up more of your time...
i should send back to Thomann even though it is outside of their 3 year warranty?
is that because you like all servicing requests to come via the dealer?
In that case, you could contact Synthax UK and see what they say...
a ballpark quote from Synthax of £150-200 is just too much to fix such a problem.
i can use the device for its other features and put the money towards another interface.
