Topic: Babyface Pro Headphone Outputs - Cable Question

I would like to sometimes use the Babyface Pro in stand-alone mode to record classical concerts with a stereo pair of mics.  I want to send the output to 2 separate Tascam portable SD Card recorders simultaneously. The input jacks on both recorders are stereo 3.5mm.  I need to monitor the mics with headphones via the Babyface Pro's 1/4" headphone jack.

Can I feed the recorders like this....

1) Recorder "A" is fed by the XLR outputs via a "Y" cable with 2 XLRs to a 3.5 mm TRS jack.

2) Recorder "B" is fed from the Babyface Pro's 3.5 mm headphone jack via a cable with 3.5 mm TRS jacks on each end.

The manual states that the headphone jacks must be TRS to dual RCA or 1/4" jacks to use them as line outputs, which I don't understand.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Re: Babyface Pro Headphone Outputs - Cable Question

Should work, cross check manual, it contains probably hints in terms of unbalanced connections...
