Topic: PC spec for MADI PCIe card

Hi All

I'm planning on getting hold of a MADI PCIe card to record live gigs (all 64 inputs at once), and was wondering if I need a new PC to run it on. My current spec is

ASUS P5GDC Delux
Pentium4 3.0GHz
512M PC2-4300 DDR2 RAM
GForce 7600 GT VGA

Will the on-board RAID, setup for 1+0 (stripe + mirror), give enough bandwidth headroom and redundancy so as not to put the system under too much stress?

Cheers

Re: PC spec for MADI PCIe card

You don't need a RAID to do this on such a machine. But you should consider using DIGICheck Record when recording for more than an hour for improved reliability.
